Giving Back

CPA Day of Service - The Stone team was proud to participate in the MassCPAs’ CPA Day of Service. Our team volunteered to work with the staff at Community Servings taking on a variety of roles within the production process. Community Servings provides home-delivered meals and nutrition services to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. All had a great time, while helping to support those in our community who need our help.

Stone & Company is proud to be affiliated with the Stone Family Adoption

Assistance Fund (SFAAF).

SFAAF is dedicated to building families through adoption funding. Founded in 2007, the organization, a 501(c)3 public charity (FID# 20-8386546), provides support and financial assistance to deserving parents that wish to adopt, or those who have incurred economic hardship through adoption. The fund was formed to commemorate the life and spirit of Andrew Christopher Stone, an adopted child himself, who, before his untimely death, always wanted to help make more adoptions possible so that other children could share the joy and love that he experienced. CPA Day of Service
  • On June 7, in honor of the MSCPA’s CPA Day of Service, a team from RS Miller & Associates (now part of the Stone family) showed up at the Crispus Attucks Children’s Center to show they care. Our team brought a level of enthusiasm to the volunteer work they performed at the organization that day that made everyone proud. The day was a nice reminder of the importance of Giving Back. The CACC staff showed their appreciation with some delicious pizza for the RSM team to close out the day!

The Crispus Attucks Children’s Center has been providing day care services for families in the local Roxbury and surrounding community for almost 50 years. CACC provides a clean and safe learning environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers as well as other supporting services for parents and families.

The RS Miller & Associates Team kicked off the summer by participating in the Town’s Community Service Day, where a number of local businesses volunteered to support several local community non-profits. Here, some volunteers take a break at the end of a solid round of work.
